Helping Others
We are a group of people who are passionate about helping others, whether it be at home or abroad.
Both Dr. Crosson and Dr. Walsh are involved in an organization called Kindness in Action which helps them volunteer their skills abroad. They love helping people, young to old, who haven’t had access to proper dental care. Between them, they have helped fix smiles in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, The Philippines, Guatemala, Cambodia, St. Lucia, Peru, and South Africa.
Dr. Lueke uses her physical fitness to help people here at home. She is involved in a group called Runners of Compassion which helps buy runners for local kids through their Shoes for Youth program. In addition to the Shoes for Youth, they have provided funding to a variety of groups, including a triathlon program for kids in Lantzville, a lunch plan at Bayview Elementary, and a summer activities camp for children in Harewood.
The whole office participates in many events for charities through both donations and shows of support. These include events such as Jeans Day for the BC Children’s Hospital, Pink Shirt Day for Anti-Bullying, and Daffodil Month for the BC Cancer Society.
